In 2013, Sian opened Kollective South, a co-working and communi-tech center in Atlanta, Georgia. Her goal was to provide a collaborative workspace for neighborhood entrepreneurs and creative but also much needed technical curriculum for communities in ‘innovation deserts’.
The first of its kind, KSouth was before its time but served as a precursor for other similar efforts that now bring technology to underserved communities such as The Gathering Spot in Atlanta, Tribe in Miami and Urban Colab in Austin.

In 2014, Sian launched Cast Beauty, a data-driven beauty recommendation platform. Cast was the only beauty app that used a unique algorithm and specific data points from the weather to provide users with personalized beauty product recommendations.
Cast Beauty won L’Oreal’s prestigious Women in Digital award presented to women founders of companies with the potential to revolutionize the beauty industry. The app received global attention and write-ups in MarieClaire, Blavity, Ebony, Redbook, PopSugar, and AdAge among others.

In 2010, Sian founded Kollective Mobile, a mobile development agency specializing in native mobile development in the San Francisco Bay Area.
